ABB VM4 – Mechanical interlock unit for contactors (AF09 … AF38)

The VM4 is a mechanical interlocking unit designed for side-by-side interlocking of two 3-pole or 4-pole contactors AF09…AF38, AFC09…AFC38, AFS09…AFS38 without additional width.

When fitted between two contactors, the VM4 mechanical interlocking unit prevents one contactor from closing while the other is closed. In this way, the unit ensures safe and efficient operation of the contactors. What’s more, the VM4 mechanical interlock unit includes 2 fixing clips (BB4), making it easy to install and secure.
