Mersen UltraSafe Modular 600 Volt Fuse Holders for Class J fuses introduce a new level of safety and ease for installing or replacing Class J fuses. UltraSafe holders qualify as “finger-safe” to an IP20 grade of protection under IEC standards. The US3J accommodates 30A Class J or 22 x 58 mm French Ferrule* fuses.

The UltraSafe modular fuse holders from Mersen, designed for Class J fuses and supporting up to 600 volts, represent a significant advancement in safety. Thanks to their innovative design, they offer a superior level of protection during fuse installation or removal.
Moreover, in compliance with IEC standards, these fuse holders are recognized as “Fingersafe,” meaning they provide optimal protection against accidental contact, with a certified IP20 safety rating. This allows users to handle these devices with confidence while adhering to the highest safety standards.
Mersen’s US3J model is designed to accommodate 30 A Class J cartridge fuses as well as 22 x 58 mm French-style fuses, providing flexible integration options to meet both local and international standards. In contrast, the US6J model is tailored specifically for 60 A Class J fuses, making it ideal for higher current applications.
The UltraSafe fuse holders are available in 1-, 2-, or 3-pole versions to easily adapt to various electrical circuit configurations. Each pole can optionally be equipped with a visual blown-fuse indicator, allowing for immediate identification of faulty fuses and simplifying maintenance.
Multi-pole assemblies can be built on-site using assembly kits. All models feature a lockout function in the “open” position, enabling safe fuse replacement or maintenance work.
The US3J and US6J fuse holders are designed for quick installation on a DIN rail. Their unique locking mechanism remains open to facilitate later repositioning. Made from polyamide, they offer strength and durability.
*Note: The fuse holders are not UL approved when used with French-style cartridge fuses.
