ADXL0018600 Lovato electric – Soft starters with integrated bypass relay (Soft Starter) 18A 600V The ADXL soft starter series features a backlit LCD display with icons and NFC connectivity for simple and immediate configuration even via smartphones and tablets. They are suitable both for simple “plug and play” applications (thanks to the Installation Wizard) and for applications requiring higher performance in terms of motor control and protection during start-up and operation.
Two-phase control during motor start-up and shutdown reduces thermal power dissipation. After start-up, the soft starter closes the by-pass contacts, reducing energy consumption to a minimum.
ADXL integrates the protection function for both the connected motor and the starter, and is able to monitor the motor’s thermal status to manage its thermal protection and internal temperature, and protect the thyristors from overheating. It is also possible to activate protection against motor overheating by means of an external CTP temperature sensor.
